National Institutes
of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) - This is the
division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that handles arthritis
research. This is particularly useful for patients who want information about
clinical trials. They also have several free information pamphlets.

Spondylitis Association
of America - SAA is a national non-profit volunteer organization, dedicated
to the eradication of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and related diseases through
education, advocacy, awareness and research. AS is a chronic form of arthritis
that affects the spine.
